How
did the feminist movement lead to our western culture in which gender equality
is the freedom to enjoy a night at a lapdancing club with male colleagues,
and where "girl power" translates into a set of Playboy stationery for the
under-10s? I feel that women have sold themselves short, and there is a
lot of room for improvement! I see thinkingwomen as an opportunity to draw
women into a discussion on issues that are relevant and important to all
women. I also see it as an opportunity to meet some amazingly interesting
people and hear ideas I've never heard before. I work in advertising, and
live in Manchester
